About Us
November 1, 2007 marked the beginning of a dream hatched many years before. A dream of starting a small company around a passion.
After years in engineering, attending The Landing School of Boatbuilding and Design, then a director and trustee of The Landing School, it turned out that founding member Glen Shivel’s passion was for boats. Specifically classically styled mahogany runabouts, with a modern twist.
Founded upon the concept that boat ownership should be enjoyable, stress-free, and brings the family together in a safe and as environmental friendly way as possible, our small company has both design and built award winning “functional works of art” and preserved historical family heirlooms.
